The Buffalo Bills are back in primetime for a Week 6 battle against the Atlanta Falcons, but they will be the visitors this time. On Monday Night Football, Buffalo will be the visiting team for the first time since Week 2. While the Bills are looking to climb back into the win column, the Falcons are coming off their bye week and they won their Week 4 game against the Commanders.
Buffalo is in a better spot than Atlanta, but the Bills have some big mistakes to correct from their 23-20 loss this past Sunday. They already have one win against an out-of-conference opponent in the New Orleans Saints. Now they will be looking to start out 2-0 against the NFC South and get to 5-1.
Buffalo and Atlanta don’t meet a ton since they are in different conferences, but the Bills will see some familiar faces who used to be part of the Bills, even if it was for a brief time.
3 former Bills that Buffalo will see in Week 6 vs. Falcons
DE Leonard Floyd
Leonard Floyd signed with the Bills prior to the 2023 season and turned out to be not only the best pass rusher for the team, but was arguably the best player on the defense that season. He had 10.5 sacks (tied for a career-high) which was the most by any Bills defender that season.
He was a one-and-done player with the Bills, signing with the San Francisco 49ers in 2024, and now he will face the Bills as a member of the Falcons. Floyd has just 1.5 sacks through four games with Atlanta.
WR Ray-Ray McCloud III
Ray-Ray McCloud spent just one season in Buffalo despite getting drafted there in 2018. He was used mainly for special teams and he only had 5 catches for 36 yards. Since his one season in Buffalo, McCloud has been with the Steelers, 49ers, and now the Falcons.
He has his best seasons as a member of the Falcons so far, recording 686 yards and 1 touchdown last season. Through four games this year, he has just 64 yards but he also is fighting for production in an offense that has players like Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allegier, Kyle Pitts, and Drake London.
WR David Sills V
It’s very unlikely that David Sills V will have any kind of production against the Bills, but you never know. After going undrafted in 2019, the Bills signed Sills as an undrafted free agent but he never made it onto the official roster. Since his brief stay in Buffalo, Sills has played for the Giants, Broncos, and now the Falcons. However, he has only seen the field with the Giants and Falcons.
He’s had no more than 11 catches and 106 yards in a season. He has just one catch for nine yards this season.
