Th Buffalo Bills are no longer rolling, falling headfirst out of their loss against the New England Patriots in Week 4. With their early-season gauntlet not yet over, the Bills now go on the road against the L.A. Rams for Week 5's Monday Night Football matchup.

The issue remains a large one; Buffalo has issues, and the Rams are a star-studded nightmare. If there's one thing star players are good at, it's finding and exploiting weaknesses.

For Los Angeles, their issues are the same. Buffalo has a powerhouse offense even when playing not the best, and the Rams are not a perfect team. This could come down to the wire, much like their last meeting in 2024; a 44-42 shootout that resulted in the Rams getting the win.

Prediction #1 - Buffalo's offense gets back on track

One area the Buffalo Bills have been overwhelmingly successful is on offense. Josh Allen is coming off two mediocre outings, yet still put up 24 and 26 points. On the season, Buffalo has the NFL's top scoring offense at 31.8 ppg.

Admittedly the Rams have the second-best defense in the league by yardage. It makes a projection of success harder, but no less accurate when understanding the Rams still allow opponents to score on them.

As the Rams play from behind consistently, yardage becomes a premium and they too must rely on offensive success. That drops the total.

Still, there is a difference between attempting to do and doing, and the Bills are set up to 'do' on Monday Night Football. Their offense is balanced, and won't be the issue against a perfectly amicable Rams secondary.

Prediction #2 - Puka Nacua dominates the Bills' defense

There are drawbacks to playing the NFL's best. Sure, you get remarkable football, and the wins feel like playoff success, but getting from A to B is impossible at times. Going up against Puka Nacua is one of those times.

The young star is one of the best receivers in football, and relatively fresh having only played in two games this season. Despite that, he's averaging 99.5 YPG.

The Buffalo Bills secondary is in shambles, and it was already struggling when healthy. The team has given up an average of 256.3 passing yards per game, 6th-worst is the NFL.

It seems Puka Nacua, or teammate Davante Adams, will make their mark on this defense on Monday.

Prediction #3 - Final score

It's not going to be the prettiest game Bills fans have ever seen, nor their prettiest of the season, but it will be high-scoring. Buffalo has show the ability to match pace, and when they're moving quickly, points happen.

They happen for their opponents too, of course. There's no running away with this one. Still, all's well that ends well, and this ends well.

Prediction: Bills beat the Rams in another shootout, 38 - 31.
