This wouldn't be bad whatsoever.

Once the Super Bowl comes to an on February 9th, the 2024 NFL season will officially come to an end and the long wait for the 2025 opening kickoff begins. All passionate football fans know that the offseason is an exciting, yet super boring time (depending on which month you are in).

The Buffalo Bills failed once again to reach the month of February and still be competing. Much like it has been since the 2021 playoffs, the Bills’ season came to an abrupt end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. Even though Buffalo only lost by three, it should have been more considering how they competed from start to finish.

They never really came out firing and they couldn’t overcome Steve Spagnoulo’s ferocious defense in the 4th quarter. Now the offseason is here and the countdown to both free agency and the NFL draft is on.

The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin where the Bills are currently sitting at the No. 30 overall pick in the first round. The last time they had this exact pick, they selected defensive end Greg Rousseau out of the University of Miami, who is currently setup to get paid at some point here very soon.

NFL analyst Bucky Brooks released his Mock Draft 1.0 and Brooks has the Bills repeating history by taking a defensive end at No. 30.

Bills draft Ohio State DE JT Tuimoloau in Bucky Brooks’ first mock draft

"The Bills' blue-collar culture makes this Ohio State product a perfect fit. JTT's a rugged edge player with upside as a pass rusher."
Bucky Brooks, NFL.com

Tuimoloau broke out for the Buckeyes in 2024. Going into this past season, he had seven career sacks. Tuimoloau would finish the 2024 season with a career-high 12.5 sacks, a career-high tackles for loss (21.5), and two forced fumbles. Not to mention, he finished as a national champion with Ohio State.

According to overthecap.com, if the Bills release Von Miller after June 1st, they will save $17.4 million and it should be no surprise to see the Bills make this move. If they are indeed looking to move on from Miller, it would be smart for Buffalo to draft an edge rusher in Tuimoloau.
