This Buffalo Bills team heading into 2025 might just be the team that can finally bring home the Lombardi trophy back to Western New York. It seems like every season, we say that this is this year for the Bills but there are still some weaknesses on the team that could come back to hurt them.

However, this team is completely filled with talent. Both at the veteran and rookie level. Brandon Beane did a fantastic job this offseason building up the roster to hopefully make a true championship run rather than experiencing another heartbreak at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs.

In addition to just a bit of bad luck with injuries, the Bills have been eliminated from the postseason by the Chiefs four of the last five seasons. Buffalo has lost within a one-score game, in a blowout, and in Kansas City as well as Buffalo. Whatever scenario you can think of, the Bills have had their hearts broken in different ways. It seems like the only way the Bills can reach and win the Super Bowl is to avoid playing the Chiefs.

Well, the Bills fans might be in some sort of luck with maybe not having to watch Buffalo and Kansas City meet in the playoffs…

Will 2025 finally be the year the Chiefs are a disappointment?

Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone recently listed three teams who are set up to “shockingly disappoint” this upcoming season and Scataglia has the Chiefs on his list. Here's a bit of what Scataglia said:

"The Chiefs are missing that offensive firepower they had for so many years, and it feels like that will catch up to them in one of these years. While KC is still going to win at least 10 games, we'll be looking at this team a bit differently when the season ends."

Heck, if Kansas City doesn’t end up winning ten games there is a good chance that they may not even make the playoffs when you look at how tough the AFC is. This offseason was quite underwhelming for the Chiefs, who did address the offensive line but nothing else to make a serious impact.

We are at the point where the Bills need to hope that they don’t have to play Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs. So, if the Chiefs have a disappointing season in 2025, the Bills just may finally conquer the chance that they have been dreaming about for a very long time; Winning the Super Bowl.
