It’s time to wake up, Bills Mafia, we have Bills football today! Just four days ago, the Bills had themselves a great statement win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will now look to pull off a road win over the Houston Texans who are coming off a close win over the Titans.

Buffalo is still very much in the playoff race in the AFC, but if they want any shot at earning their sixth straight AFC East title, they will pretty much need to win out and hope that the Patriots slip up. Houston is looking to get into the playoffs themselves at 5-5 and they will look to pull off the upset win against the Bills.

Here is some important info for fans to know ahead of tonight's kickoff down in NRG Stadium, per the Buffalo Bills' PR X team.

Mini-history between Bills and Texans

Buffalo and Houston have faced off against each other just 12 times, and the Texans lead the series 7-5, per Pro Football Reference. They have seen each other 11 times in the regular season and once in the playoffs back in 2020 where the Bills came so close to their first playoff win this century. But Houston pulled off a win in overtime.

Since 2020, the Bills are 1-2 against the Texans. Houston beat Buffalo in 2020 (in the playoffs) and last season in Week 5, 23-20. In 2021, the Bills shutout the Texans 40-0, but that was when Houston was a mess of an organization.

Each team has only had two wins each of 10+ points so they seem to play in close games. Tonight’s matchup could very well be the same, but with the hope that Buffalo leaves with the win.

Kickoff is at 8:15PM EST where the Bills will look to reach eight wins on the season and keep their momentum going.
