For the first time since January, the Buffalo Bills will be playing some meaningful football today! At 1PM EST, the Bills will be taking the field to battle the Houston Texans to kick off the Joe Brady era in Buffalo.
This is always an exciting time for fans. It's fall, there's all kinds of action to watch, and there is hope (atleast for the majority of fans). Luckily for Bills Mafia, there is a lot of hope despite the changes that happened this offseason. However, the Bills will need to prove their excitement right by going into Houston to take down the mighty Texans and their elite defense.

Mini-history for Bills vs. Texans
Buffalo and Houston have faced off against each other 13 total times in history (one time in the playoffs in 2020). The Texans currently lead the all-time series 8-5, per Pro Football Reference. Prior to the Josh Allen era, the Bills were 4-4 against the Texans (and their last win in Houston was in 2006 when J.P. Losman was under center).
Since Allen came into the league, the Bills are 1-4 against the Texans. Their only win against the Texans came in 2021, when the Bills won 40-0 in Buffalo. Aside from that, Houston has come out as winners ever since Allen has been under center.
Since Buffalo and Houston's first matchup back in 2002, there have only been five games that ended in a multi-score win which shows us that the majority of these games truly end in the 4th quarter. In addition, there have only been three games where one of these teams scored 30+ points against their opponent (the Bills are 3-0 in that game).
