Welcome to Week 2, Bills Mafia! After a thriller of a Week 1 comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills are across the state of New York (in New Jersey technically) to take on the 0-1 Jets. However, let’s be real, the Jets should be 1-0 if Chris Boswell doesn’t make a 60-yard field goal to give the Steelers a win last week.

The Bills are on the road for a 1PM division matchup against a rebuilding Jets team that is starting fresh with a new regime. The Jets are looking to change their culture for the better and while they could improve as the season goes on, they are still going to face some growing pains.

With Week 2 officially here for the Bills, we look into the facts that Bills fans need to know about for this division battle, per the Bills' PR X account.

Mini-history between Bills and Jets

Going back all the way to 1960, the Bills and Jets have seen each other every season and the Bills currently lead the Jets in the all-time series 71-58, including one playoff win against the Jets, per Pro Football Reference.

Since the 2020 season, the Bills have lost to the Jets just twice by a combined nine points. In that span, Buffalo has five wins by double digits. The last loss that Buffalo had against the Jets was the 2023 season opener where despite Aaron Rodgers leaving the game just four plays in due to a torn achilles, the Jets made a comeback and forced overtime to beat the Bills, 22-16. That was a disaster of a game by the Bills.

The last time these two teams met, the Bills absolutely destroyed the Jets 40-14. In fact, the Bills put up 40 on them before the Jets got into the endzone. However, that was with the last regime. Now Aaron Glenn has the chance to make a statement today to show the NFL that the Jets mean business if they can pull off an upset against the Bills.
