Mini-history between Bills vs. Buccaneers

Believe it or not, the Bills and Buccaneers have only faced each other 13 times going back to 1976, per Pro Football Reference. Tampa leads the all-time series 8-5, and there was a time where Buffalo lost four consecutive games to Tampa (1978, 1982, 1986, 1988). The Bills have the chance to get their first all-time win streak going against the Buccaneers, something that they have never done.

Since 2000, the Bucs have gone 4-3 against Buffalo and 3 of those 4 wins were by double digit points. The one loss that was by one score came in 2021 when Tom Brady was under center for Tampa and the Bucs won it in overtime.

These two teams last met in 2023 where Baker Mayfield and the Bucs came to Orchard Park but came away with a 6 point loss, losing 24-18 after a failed hail mary attempt. This will be the third matchup between Mayfield and Josh Allen, both having a win against each other.

Kickoff from Orchard Park will be at 1PM and this has the chance to be the game of the week if both Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen can deliver on offense at a high level. Get ready, Bills fans. This game could end in a celebration, or another heartbreaking disappointing.
