In just over 24 hours, the Buffalo Bills will take the field in front of their beloved Bills Mafia to take on a team that matches up well against them; the Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams are in the race for a playoff spot, despite the Bills being four games better than the Bengals.
It’s unreal that Buffalo, who is sitting at 8-4, is the 7th seed in the AFC and is pretty much out of the race for the AFC East. As for Cincinnati, they are just two games out of first place in their own division. If Pittsburgh and Baltimore fall apart and Cincinnati keeps on winning with Joe Burrow, the Bengals could find themselves on top of the division.
The Bills haven’t been the most consistent team this season and quite frankly, it’s been extremely annoying. However, there are other fanbases that wish they were having the season the Bills are having which is something to strongly consider.
Everyone keeps talking about how the Bills face a ton of pressure for this game, which is not wrong. At the same time, the Bengals are on the outside looking into the playoff picture. If they lose a key matchup conference game, life will just get harder for them. Atleast for Buffalo, they would have a chance to bounce back should things not go their way tomorrow.
Will Bills hold off Bengals in Week 14 clash?
The answer is very simple; the Bills have no choice but to find a way to send the Bengals back to Cincinnati with a loss. Buffalo typically plays better in December, and having the home field advantage does help.
Buffalo hasn’t beaten the Bengals since 2019, but Cincinnati’s defense has been among the worst the last two seasons. Even with Buffalo’s inconsistencies on offense, the Bengals’ defense is very weak to where they shouldn’t be able to control Josh Allen and the offense.
Not only am I predicting a Bills win, but it would not be surprising to see Buffalo have a near-repeat performance like they had against the Steelers of winning by two or more scores.
