Let’s face it…every season that the Buffalo Bills don’t win the Super Bowl feels like a wasted season. No matter how many wins they get, no matter how many highlight reels that they made, no matter what great playoff moments they have, not reaching and winning the Super Bowl feels like a failure.

While the Bills have the pleasure of being a consistent playoff team that has been knocking on the door of the Super Bowl, they have only gotten as far as the AFC title game in which they have lost two times with Josh Allen under center.

Even though Sean McDermott was a very successful head coach for the Bills, him not reaching the Super Bowl played a huge role in him getting removed from the position. Now, Joe Brady faces that pressure to do what McDermott couldn’t.

Any team that has a superstar quarterback is hoping that they will be the ones raising the Lombardi trophy at the end of the season. The Bills haven’t done that and it seems like every year that they don’t, it’s a year closer having the window completely shut. However, Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report provides reassurance that the Bills’ Super Bowl window is still very wide open.

The Super Bowl window for Bills still very much wide open (even with all offseason changes)

Gagnon listed how open the Super Bowl window is for each team in years, and the Bills were given a nice window of 4-6 years, which might be more than what fans may have thought once the team made the change from McDermott to Brady.

"Josh Allen is on a Hall of Fame track and in the middle of his prime at age 30. So long as he's on the roster, healthy and on this side of 35, a Bills team that has won double-digit games every year since 2019 will be in the picture." said Gagnon.

Gagnon said exactly what fans needed to hear. Even though the Bills’ roster has their issues, having Josh Allen in his prime will always make the Bills a dangerous team every season. Brandon Beane has faced the heavy criticism of not having enough talent around Allen (which is somewhat true), but now with a new era coming to One Bills Drive, fans are interested to see how far the Bills can go with a new coaching regime.
