The Buffalo Bills are heading to Chicago this Sunday for their second preseason game against the Bears. The Bills lost their one and only home preseason game last Friday to the New York Giants, listing 34-25. The good news is that no one should care seeing as how it is only preseason and no one suffered any major injuries.
Josh Allen and a lot of the starters didn’t play much or at all in the first preseason game. We still don’t know if they will, but we have learned that the Bears will be playing their starters.
According to Courtney Cronin from ESPN, Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that “everyone is going to play Sunday vs. Buffalo” and Johnson also said “that includes Caleb Williams and the starters who sat out last week.”

Bills should also be playing their starters vs Bears
Some people may disagree with this, considering the fact that injuries can happen instantly. At the same time, if there is any rust that Allen or the other starters may have, now is the time to shake it off. It’s okay to make mistakes now because then they know what they need to improve on come Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens.
We didn’t get the chance to see Josh Allen on the field last week. Bills fans deserve to see how he operates in the offense that has some new pieces like Elijah Moore and Joshua Palmer. In addition, it would also be great to see Buffalo’s newest extended star in James Cook hit the field after he voluntarily sat out of last week’s game.
Who knows if we will see the starters this Sunday. However, it would be a bit of a mistake to not let them get some reps. Even if it is just for a drive or two, atleast they can either build up their confidence or correct the mistakes that they make.
