This head coaching cycle was a wild one in the NFL and it’s still going on as there is one team who still remains without a head coach. The Arizona Cardinals currently remain the last team to not have a head coach. Heading into this coaching cycle, almost no one expected the Buffalo Bills to be part of it because they didn’t just make it to the playoffs, but they won in the wild card round.
Sean McDermott is out, and now it’s Joe Brady’s team and he has been off to a fast start with putting together a strong staff including the hiring of Jim Leonhard as the team’s new defensive coordinator.
After the hiring of Brady, only three teams remained with head coach vacancies. Then the Browns hired Todd Monken, and now the Las Vegas Raiders seem to have their next head coach.
According to Tom Pelisserio, the Raiders are "zeroing in on Klint Kubiak as their next head coach." Pelissero said that nothing can be finalized until after the Super Bowl.
The Raiders are zeroing in on Klint Kubiak as their next head coach, sources tell me and @RapSheet.

Nothing can be finalized until after Super Bowl LX. But all signs are pointing towards Kubiak landing in Las Vegas. pic.twitter.com/MHw3M3e7AM
Bills now have full list of head coaches they will face off against in 2026
Even though the Cardinals still remain as the only team that remain without a head coach, the Bills now have the full list of coaches that will be taking on in 2026. Heading into next season, the Bills are set to face three new head coaches that include:
Jeff Hafley - Miami Dolphins
Jesse Minter - Baltimore Ravens
Klint Kubiak - Las Vegas Raiders (reported, but not official as of now)
Brady and Hafley are new head coaches in the AFC East, while Minter will replace John Harbaugh in Baltimore and keep that defensive mindset with the Ravens. As for Kubiak, assuming that nothing goes wrong from here until after the Super Bowl, he will take over a Raiders team that has the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft and a star on defense in Maxx Crosby.
The Bills have a tough schedule in 2026, there’s no denying that. However, just like Brady said in his press conference “A mentality as we go forward that it is a nameless, faceless opponent that we’re going against, and they got to play us and not the other way around.”
New head coaches should not be overlooked. Brady, and these 3 other head coaches that Buffalo will go up against should not be counted out. They were hired (or should be hired, in Kubiak's situation), for a reason.
