Since the summer, the Buffalo Bills have been dealing with nonstop injuries to their roster. First, it was the secondary that was hurting in preseason. Then the defensive line took a hit when Ed Oliver missed a handful of games (and is now on the IR for a bicep injury). Matt Milano and Dalton Kincaid have missed games as well. Now, the offense will take their biggest injury hit of the season so far going into Sunday’s game against the Steelers.

After Josh Allen took on a lot of heat from the Houston Texans’ defense with all five Buffalo’s starters in the trenches, he will now have to go up against this Pittsburgh defense without his starting tackles. Sean McDermott has ruled both Dion Dawkins and Spencer Bronw out for Sunday’s game against the Steelers, the team reported.

Bills' offense faces serious problem going into Week 13 clash vs. Steelers

Coming off a game where the Bills gave up 8 sacks in their last outing, now they will be tasked to hold off T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward who can cause havoc against an offense both against the run and pass. Who knows who will be taking both Dawkins and Brown’s spots, but they will have a huge task to protect Allen on the outside and not let him get hit as much as he did against Houston.

There’s only been one game where Allen hasn’t been sacked this season. Before the disaster against Houston, Allen was sacked 20 times. Now, that number is up to 28 and it could easily rise even higher against Pittsburgh.

The Steelers have 34 sacks on the year, led by Watt with seven of them. Then you also have Alex Highsmith with 5.5 and Nick Herbig with 6.5 himself. The Steelers have shown that they can get after the quarterback, despite having just an average defense. Now they will have a prime opportunity to make life miserable for the Bills’ offense without Dawkins and Brown.
