The good news for the Buffalo Bills in Week 7 is that they can’t lose because they are heading into their bye week and they need it more than ever. The Bills started out 4-0 and now they have dropped their last two games against the New England Patriots and now the Atlanta Falcons.
Buffalo has lost back-to-back primetime battles and will now pay the price with being placed into second place in the AFC East with the Patriots ahead of them. As a team overall, the Bills have looked bad across the board the last two games. While they still remain as one of the league’s best teams, they are in trouble and have to do something different if they want to remain in the Super Bowl conversation.
With Buffalo going into their bye week, they will have some extra time to get some rest and potentially find ways to improve their roster. This is where Brandon Beane has to work his magic and fix an issue or two that the Bills currently have.
Right now, you can make the argument that both sides of the ball could use a boost. This is where Beane has to be aggressive and make a trade sooner rather than later ahead of the November 4th trade deadline.
Bills must trade for any kind of help to keep Super Bowl window open
Whether you trade for help on offense or defense, the Bills have to get some extra help. Ideally, their defense could use more help especially on the defensive line. The Bills are dealing with injuries already and the inconsistency is costing this team week in and week out.
They could also bring in some secondary help, whether it’s getting a safety or a corner to bring some sort of stability. Overall, this defense could use any sort of help.
Now, if the Bills wanted to take the route of getting offensive help, well then there is no choice other than to get themselves a wide receiver that can actually separate. Who could help? There’s plenty of names you could throw out there, but overall, Buffalo would need to get themselves a true playmaker who can be a No. 1 wideout for Josh Allen.
