Buffalo might be headed over the pond in 2025, acting as the potential road team versus the NY Jets or Cleveland Browns as they take on both teams away from their home field. The Jets and Browns were announced as two teams going to play in Hotspur Stadium next season as "home" teams, which means the Bills have two shots to be the road team in either game.
No official dates have been designated for next season's games for the Bills, but they already know who their opponents will be - the Jets and Browns being two of them.
The last time the Bills were in London was in 2023, when they lost a heartbreaker to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was a sour loss considering the Jaguars that season weren't exactly considered serious competitors, while the Bills were once again considered Super Bowl favorites. Losing on the road is always tough, but to lose in front of an international crowd made it worse.
Chances of Buffalo headed to London in 2025
The NY Jets and Cleveland Browns are, respectfully, not going to be huge draws for a London crowd next season. Assuming New York parts ways with Aaron Rodgers and assuming the Browns do not immediately fix their issues at quarterback prior to this game, both teams are likely headed into the contest as the underdogs.
So, it would make sense for the NFL to put a team like the Bills up against either one of these teams for their London games. The league doesn't want to send their lackluster products over without having a better product to stack up against it, hence the Minnesota Vikings being set to face off with the Jets this year overseas.

Minnesota also played overseas twice in three years, so Buffalo being in London as recently as 2023 is not an issue.
Buffalo would be headed into next season as likely Super Bowl favorites once again, assuming they don't get worse between now and then. They may even be headed into the game having just won a Super Bowl if the cards fall correctly for Buffalo. So, it'd be smart for the NFL to have them face off with one of the Browns or Jets in this high exposure game.
Plus, this gives the Bills a chance to redeem themselves for that Jaguars game from two years ago - a win-win for the NFL and Buffalo.
