It is the calm before the storm as the Buffalo Bills may be running out of the tunnel at the old Highmark Stadium for the final time tomorrow. While the Bills are on their way to the playoffs, they will be going in as a wild card team and there is a chance that for the first time since 2019-2020 that they won’t have a home playoff game.

Who they will play next weekend is yet to be determined, but there a lot of different scenarios. The only thing that the Bills should be focused on is the New York Jets, who have once again had a failing season.

Despite it being possibly the last game in Highmark, the Bills must do the necessary thing of getting the starters off the field early on and let the backups finish the game. Buffalo does not need any injuries coming up right before the postseason.

This is the time for backups to show what they can do, as well as anyone that was brought up from the practice squad. Heading into this game, the Bills made two roster elevations with one player being someone that fans have been wanting to see on the field since arriving in Buffalo.

According to the Buffalo Bills’ PR team, the Bills have elevated linebacker Keonta Jenkins and edge rusher Matthew Judon, who the team brought onto the practice squad in December.

Matthew Judon set to make his Bills debut vs Jets in Week 18

Judon started out this season as a member of the Dolphins, but was then released by them in mid-December. Buffalo brought him in and ended up signing him to the practice squad. Now he is set to make his debut as a Bill tomorrow against the Jets.

Prior to being in Buffalo and Miami, Judon spent last season with the Atlanta Falcons where he managed to record 5.5 sacks. Before that, he was causing havoc against the Bills as a member of the New England Patriots. While he wasn’t on any successful Patriots teams, he had back-to-back 12+ sack seasons from 2021-2022.

Early on in his career before joining the Patriots, Judon was a member of the Baltimore Ravens which is where he had became a Pro Bowl player.

It should be no surprise that the Bills have elevated Judon for this game. It’s the final game of the regular season, so now the Bills will get the chance to see what Judon can potentially do for the team in the playoffs. In addition, Joey Bosa is questionable with a hamstring injury. If he can’t go, then Judon may get a great amount of playing time.
