Since Josh Allen took his massive leap forward in 2020, the Buffalo Bills have been knocking on the Super Bowl door. They are very close and quite frankly, they have everything a championship team needs. However, they keep running into the same issue; the Kansas City Chiefs.

Four of the last five seasons, the Bills’ season has ended in heartbreak at the hands of the Chiefs. While the Bills have no issue beating them in the regular season, they fall apart when it matters the most.

Most fans would say that if Patrick Mahomes wasn’t in the NFL, or atleast wasn’t on the Chiefs, the Bills would atleast have made a Super Bowl appearance. There is a lot of belief that the 2025 season will finally be the Bills’ year to go all the way. With them revamping their defense and the Chiefs not having the most impressive offseason, the Bills have a real shot at finally winning the AFC, and hopefully the Super Bowl.

Latest NFL prediction has Bills finally making franchise history, and against perfect opponent

Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone recently made predictions for the NFL’s top contenders going into this season and Scataglia is predicting the Bills to finally capture their first Super Bowl. Here’s what Scataglia said about the Bills winning it all:

"Let's just get right to it, huh? The Buffalo Bills will win Super Bowl 60 this year and finally get over the hump after years and years. This team has lost twice in the AFC Championship to the Kansas City Chiefs, but with how much better Buffalo's roster is than KC and how slim the Chiefs' margins have gotten, could 2025 be the year?"

Scataglia also has the Bills beating the Washington Commanders in the Super Bowl, which is one of the three opponents that beat the Bills back in the early 90s when Buffalo went to four consecutive Super Bowls. Here’s what Scataglia said about the Commanders:

"The Buffalo Bills do need an opponent in Super Bowl 60, and it'll be the Washington Commanders, a team with a massively talented QB and elite coaching staff. The roster itself actually isn't all that special, but they're a very good team and got within one game of the Super Bowl in 2024. I predict that Jayden Daniels will enjoy a sizeable leap in year two and will lead Washington to the big game, but they'll fall just short."

This would be an amazing story for the Bills to win the Super Bowl this coming season. It’s their last season in their current stadium and it would solidify them as the best Bills team in franchise history. They have the opportunity to accomplish what Jim Kelly and Marv Levy couldn’t do.

There will be some obstacles along the way, and maybe even a heartbreaking loss or two. Let’s just hope it doesn’t come in the playoffs.
