For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills are taking on an NFC West opponent in the Los Angeles Rams. The Bills head out to Englewood to take on a Rams team that has been up-and-down this season. This is the first of a two-game road stretch where they will take on a sneaky good Rams team, before going up to Detroit to take on the only team that could stop them in the Lions.

After a snowy win in front of the home crowd, the Bills head out to warmer weather against a team that they destroyed in the 2022 season opener. It’s been an up-and-down last month for the Rams, going 2-2 the last four weeks and getting a 21-14 win over the New Orleans Saints.

With these two teams only playing each other every four years, there is no standings predicament for either of them since they are in opposite conferences. At the same time, with it already being December, the standings are important each week no matter who the opponent is.

Buffalo has officially clinched the AFC East and are now focused on acquiring the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They are in great shape. As for the Rams, they currently sit at 6-6 tied with the Arizona Cardinals for second place in the NFC West. They aren’t out of the playoff picture, but they have some catching up to do.

Buffalo Bills have dominated Rams in recent head-to-head matchups

Per Pro Football Reference, the Bills and Rams have faced off against each other 14 times and the Bills lead the head-to-head series. It’s been 12 years since the Rams last beat the Bills. Their last win came December 9th, 2012 where they defeated the Bills 15-12.

Since then, the Bills have won the last three matchups, winning by double digits in two of those games. However, in those three wins, the Bills have scored 30+ points in each game and have won by a combined score of 96-61.

Being away from Buffalo is never easy for the Bills, but they have proven that they can win on the road. The Bills have been rolling recently and the Rams will be tasked a tough challenge to stop them. The NFL is a week-to-week schedule and anyone can be beaten, but the Bills look unstoppable right now.
