Bills Friday Injury Report: Keon Coleman a true game-time decision

Going into Week 13, the Bills are the healtiest they have been in a long time.

It’s been quite a long time since the Bills have had full health on the roster. They have been affected by the injury bug since training camp. The first major injury took place on linebacker Matt Milano when he tore his bicep before the start of the season. The last time that Milano played a down of football was on October 8th of last year.

Then the secondary became banged up with injuries to Mike Edwards (no longer with the Bills) and rookie safety Cole Bishop. Then throughout the season, Buffalo became affected in the linebacker room and at wide receiver as well. Needless to say, the Bills haven’t caught a break but despite all of that adversity, the Bills are still one of the best teams in the NFL at 9-2 and have a home field advantage this Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

After being down a couple of starters in Week 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills had the bye week to not only enjoy but to also get healthier. It appears that they will be blessed with availability from players who haven’t been on the field in a couple of weeks.

Bills get more healthy from Friday’s injury report

The Buffalo Bills PR X account updated the Bills injury report and the Bills are as healthy as they have been this season. Sean McDermott had already ruled out tight end Dalton Kincaid who suffered a knee injury in Week 10 but he’s the only starter that the Bills might be without.

The good news for the Bills is that even though DeWayne Carter and Matt Milano are still listed as questionable, they were full participants throughout the week. The only true game-time decision is wide receiver Keon Coleman who is still dealing with a wrist injury he suffered at the hands of former Bill, Jordan Poyer.

Going into the last six games of their schedule, the Bills are going to need all the health they can get. Last year, the Bills were ultimately affected in the playoffs due to half of their defense being out with injuries. Potentially getting Matt Milano back and plugging him back into the defense with Terrel Bernard is a massive upgrade. Now it’s just a matter of how much Milano can produce since he hasn’t played in over a year.

In regards to Coleman, this will be a situation that Bills fans will want to pay attention to. If he can go on Sunday night, that would be fantastic news. If he can’t, that’s fine as well.
