Well, that might have been the last game ever at the old Highmark Stadium. It did, however, end on a great note if that was the last time the Bills ever play in that stadium. Buffalo will now focus on the playoffs as the postseason is officially here for them.

The Bills finished the regular season at 12-5, and will enter the playoffs as the 6-seed and they will now head down to Duval County to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who finished as AFC South champs and the 3-seed. With the Bills winning and the Chargers losing, Buffalo jumped ahead to the 6-seed and sent LA down to the final wild card spot.

In the 1PM slot, the Texans, who are the other wild card team, beat the Colts to secure the 5-seed and will now wait to see who they will play; either the Ravens or Steelers.

While the AFC North title and 4-seed spot are still open (up until after Sunday Night Football), we know most of the matchups for next week. Buffalo will travel to Jacksonville, LA will head east to take on the New England Patriots, and the Texans will either travel to Baltimore or Pittsburgh. The Denver Broncos locked up the top seed and will have a bye next week.

Bills will travel to Jaguars next weekend

Make no mistake about it, the Jaguars are going to be a problem for the Bills. However, Josh Allen and the Bills have more playoff experience. The last time these two teams met in the playoffs was back in 2018, where neither Allen or Lawrence were in the league.

While Jacksonville got the win in that playoff game, they only won 10-3. These are brand new teams and this will be a good starting challenge for the Bills. Buffalo hasn’t won a playoff game on the road under Sean McDermott, so this could be a first for him.

The official time of when the Bills and Jaguars will play next weekend should be announced at some point during Sunday Night Football.

UPDATE: Bills will play the Jaguars on 1PM on Sunday.
