Despite coming off of their bye week, the Buffalo Bills had a bit of a lengthy injury report throughout this week of practice. The final injury report on Friday featured six players listed as questionable, and one already out (but it was WR Tyrell Shavers whose practice window just opened up this week from a torn ACL).
The players that had an injury designation are as follows, per the Buffalo Bills' PR team:
CB Dee Alford (ankle)-Questionable
OL Spencer Brown (back)-Questionable
DL Greg Gaines (calf)-Questionable
TE Dalton Kincaid (chest)-Questionable
WR DJ Moore (shoulder)-Questionable
OLB TJ Parker (knee)-Questionable
WR Tyrell Shavers (knee)-Out
The Bills are back at home for the first time since Week 4 and they are looking to win their 12th consecutive game coming off of a bye week. They host a Baltimore Ravens team that is last in the AFC North and coming off back-to-back divisional games against the Browns and Bengals.
Buffalo is looking to improve to 6-1 (but it won't be an easy task)
Even though the Ravens are coming into this game looking to get out of their slump, they tend to always give the Bills major troubles. Luckily for Buffalo, the Bills will be getting some key help back for this clash.
Prior to the final inactives being released, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that WR DJ Moore, who had missed the Bills' last two games, is expected to make his return and give the Bills' offense a boost that they are going to need. However, Cameron Wolfe from NFL Network had reported that RT Spencer Brown is inactive as he is dealing with a back injury from Week 5.
With that, the final inactives are as follows per the Buffalo Bills' PR team:
Bills Week 8 inactives:
WR Skyler Bell
CB Dee Alford
S Jalon Kilgore
OLB Mike Danna
OL Ar'maj Reed-Adams
OL Spencer Brown
DL Greg Gaines
Inactives summary
The Bills are down a starting offensive lineman in Spencer Brown, so it looks like Tylan Grable could take his spot. Dee Alford who was trending in the wrong direction is officially out as he is recovering from an ankle injury.
Not having Greg Gaines hits the defensive line depth as he popped up on the injury report on Friday with a calf injury. While he is out, the Bills have a solid rotation in the trenches.
Kickoff from Orchard Park is set for 1PM, and it's an AFC clash that no one should want to miss.
