With the Buffalo Bills beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-24, in the Wild Card Playoffs, they have conquered one of their greatest challenges heading into the Super Bowl run. They have beaten the Jags in EverBank Stadium on the road.
While the Bills will face the Denver Broncos in their next Divisional Round playoff game, quarterback Josh Allen and his team will get ready to play hard against the No. 1 seed.
These players will help the Buffalo Bills turn a corner this postseason
1. QB Josh Allen
While he suffered multiple injuries over the course of the Wild Card game, Allen still managed to go 28-for-35 for 273 yards and a touchdown. He also kept the ball on the ground, running for 33 yards on 11 carries while scoring two touchdowns.
Allen then made NFL history by becoming the first quarterback to complete at least 80% of his throws while running for multiple scores in the playoffs.

2. LB Shaq Thompson
While the team made a total of nine batted-down passes, the 31-year-old veteran Shaq Thompson made his first-ever interception in the playoffs. Thompson played a classic game on Sunday, totaling a team-best eight tackles.

His good fortunes started in the first half, with his first career interception in the playoffs off Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the second quarter. It was also Thompson's first pick since 2021.
3. CB Tre'Davious White
The LSU veteran perhaps made the biggest play to end the game. With the Bills leading 27-24, Lawrence threw a pass that White tipped, and Cole Bishop came down with the interception to seal the big win.
White, before that, has been playing some of his best football the past couple of games to go along with the three deflected passes he swatted away from Lawrence.
It marked the Bills' first road playoff win since 1992 and ended an eight-game losing streak on the road in the playoffs.
4. S Cole Bishop
As mentioned, Bishop made the game-winning interception on a pass tipped from White. Instead of trying to score to increase the Bills' lead, he listened to his teammate and slid down for the offense to kneel in the victory formation.
Bishop has had a tremendous sophomore season, but has yet to come up with a game-sealing interception like that in the playoffs.
Now, he can cross that off his bucket list and move on to Denver.
5. WR Khalil Shakir
As much criticism as the Bills' wide receiver corps took during the regular season, the one constant has been the steady hands and the big-time catches by Shakir. Shakir caught all 12 balls thrown to him for 82 yards and helped set other players up, including Brandin Cooks' big catch late in the fourth quarter.

6. WR Brandin Cooks
While he dropped a big pass earlier in the game, Cooks made up for it with a big 36-yard catch on a rocket launcher from Allen that helped the Bills score the eventual game-winning touchdown on a "tush push" sneak from Allen.
The Bills, despite being one of the teams voting to ban the play, went 4-for-4 on tush push sneaks, while the Jags, who were one of the teams to keep it, were 0-for-4 on stopping the play.
