Buffalo Bills second-year receiver Keon Coleman was on pace to being one of the best rookie wideouts last season up until a wrist injury in the middle of the year slowed down his production. Now going into this second season with the Bills, he knows the offense and knows what the Bills are looking to accomplish.

Coleman ended his rookie season with 556 yards and 4 touchdowns off of 29 receptions. He averaged nearly 20 yards per reception, making him a potential great deep threat receiver for the Bills moving forward. The Bills added in a separator receiver in Joshua Palmer, as well as speed in Elijah Moore to help the passing attack for Josh Allen.

Now the hope is that Coleman can continue to grow and prove that he was the correct 2nd round choice for the Bills in 2024.

Keon Coleman listed as breakout player for Bills in 2025:

Sayre Bedinger from NFL Spin Zone recently listed one potential breakout player for each AFC team going into this season and to no surprise, Coleman was listed for the Bills. Here’s what Bedinger said about Coleman:

"Again, we don't always love to go with the low-hanging fruit for every team, but Keon Coleman is a pretty obvious breakthrough candidate this year for the Buffalo Bills. Josh Palmer, oddly enough, could also be an interesting breakout player as a free agent signing, but Coleman showed some nice flashes last year as a rookie and should be an even more featured weapon in 2025."

Bills fans are hoping that Coleman can take the next step forward and become a great deep threat receiver for this offense. Due to Buffalo having a wide open Super Bowl window, Coleman is facing more pressure than usual to be successful. The last thing we want to see is Coleman disappointing in his sophomore year and not contributing to the success of the Bills.

Coleman will be tested throughout the season and will need to find a way to take pressure off of the Bills offense overall.
