In case you haven’t learned by now, the NFL is a week-to-week schedule. Anything can happen and we always see blowout wins, as well as major upsets. For example, the Green Bay Packers went into Cleveland in hopes to keep their dominance going, but they fell short to the Browns, 13-10.

It doesn’t matter where you rank in the standings, all that matters is what you do on the field. Through three games, the Bills have proven that they can play complimentary football whether it’s in a blowout win or a close game. This coming Sunday, they are hosting the 0-3 New Orleans Saints who just lost 44-13 to the Seahawks.

To put it into perspective, the Saints were down 38-6 going into halftime. Seattle isn’t necessarily a dominant team so for it to get out of control early on is not a great look for them. You could make the argument that seeing this performance should automatically make the Bills a clear favorite to not just win, but to win in a blowout fashion.

However, I’m here to say that this Week 4 game against the Saints has the term “trap game” written all over it, whether fans want to admit it or not.

Bills' Week 4 matchup vs. Saints is a trap game

On paper, the Bills have the better players, team, and coaching staff. Not to mention, this game will be in Orchard Park in front of a rowdy Bills Mafia. Everything is literally set up for it to be a beatdown. At the same time, we have seen the Bills play down to their competition.

The Saints are only averaging 15 points per game the last three games. Now they are allowing 30 points per game after that horrendous performance against the Seahawks. However, teams who come off bad performances have shown that they can bounce back and the Bills are in a spot where the Saints could pull off a major upset.
