The 2026 season will feature the Buffalo Bills taking on some of the best teams that have some of the best players in the league. While Buffalo presents themselves as a challenge to others, they will also have their hands full. Even going up against some of the worst teams this season, the Bills will still have to deal with some of the top players that are on those teams.

One team that they will face that isn’t one of the best is the Las Vegas Raiders, but they do have one of the best edge rushers in Maxx Crosby.

The biggest storyline involving Crosby this offseason was when he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens for two 1st-round picks, but then the Ravens backed out of the deal and eventually ended up just signing Trey Hendrickson in free agency. Now, Crosby is still a member of the Raiders...for now.

Even though it appears that Crosby will be a member of the Raiders, you can never count out anything and Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report has a bold prediction about Crosby and the Raiders that could heavily benefit the Bills in Week 6.

Maxx Crosby training camp trade prediction could help Bills greatly

Gagnon put together a list of 8 bold predictions for training camp that is rapidly approaching, and one of them is the Raiders trading Crosby to the San Francisco 49ers.

"The soon-to-be 29-year-old is still awesome but may be nearing the back side of his prime, and it makes little sense for a rebuilding team to keep him around on that kind of contract." said Gagnon.

"What does make sense is trading him to an NFC team that is ready and trying to win now, needs edge help and happens to be located in the same region in which Crosby started his NFL career." Gagnon added.

With the Bills set to see Crosby in Week 6 for now, if he was to be traded out of Las Vegas and to San Francisco, then Buffalo’s matchup against the Raiders would become a more manageable game for the Bills.

Crosby is a game-wrecker and even though the Bills have been solid in pass protection, you can pretty much guarantee that he would make a play or two against Josh Allen.

Who knows if the Raiders will try to trade Crosby for a second time this offseason, but until it actually happens, the Bills can expect to see #98 in the silver and black in Week 6. However, not having to go up against him would also be great for Buffalo.
