Bills' ceiling-floor forecasts prove AFC East has no answer for Buffalo in 2025

Might as well just hand Buffalo the AFC East title now.

Another offseason approaching the regular season and once again we have the Buffalo Bills who are set to run the AFC East again. The Bills are looking to clinch their sixth straight division title despite the division getting a little bit stronger around them.

While the Miami Dolphins stayed about the same (maybe got a little bit worse), the New York Jets and New England Patriots made some improvements.

The Jets have a new regime and brought in a culture-setting coach in Aaron Glenn, who put together one of the best defensive units in Detroit the last couple of seasons. Then you have the Patriots, who brought back a fan-favorite in Mike Vrabel to lead them and New England was not afraid to spend money this offseason to make improvements.

Even though the Jets and Patriots got a lot of headlines, they still have a lot of work to do and prove that they can be serious contenders for the division, let alone make the playoffs. The Bills run the AFC East and it should be no different come this season.

Bills destined rule AFC East again in 2025

Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone recently listed the ceiling and floor record predictions for the AFC East and let’s just say this, the Bills are clearly the top team and it’s not even close.

Scataglia has the Bills’ ceiling at 15-2, while the floor is at 11-6. The biggest threat to the Bills is the Patriots, whose ceiling is at 11-6 and their floor at 6-11. Right there shows us that the Bills’ worst performance could be the Patriots’ best.

Now as for the Dolphins, Scataglia believes their ceiling is 10-7 and that their floor is at 4-13. Pretty bad, right? Well, it’s better than the Jets. New York’s ceiling was listed at 8-9 and their floor was at a horrendous 3-14. Now, it makes sense because they are starting from scratch but it shows us that the Jets would be lucky to get even close to .500 on the season.

Here's a bit on what Scataglia said about the Bills:

"The Buffalo Bills have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL in 2025 and could honestly cruise to 15 wins if the ball bounces their way more often than not and if they beat the teams they should. Buffalo is a juggernaut and will have bigger fish to fry than the regular season."
Lou Scataglia, NFL Spin Zone

Five consecutive seasons of the Bills owning the division and it doesn’t look like that will end anytime soon, especially with Josh Allen right in the middle of his prime. Of course, anything can happen that can change that narrative. We see things happen all the time. However, until it does, Bills Mafia can expect a ton of division championships coming to Buffalo for the future, but we all know what the Bills are expected to do; Bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo.
