I know it’s only been three weeks in the NFL, but we are well on our way to seeing the Buffalo Bills once again run away with the AFC East. They are currently at 3-0 and have taken a commanding lead within the division, while they were able to rest today, they got to watch two of their division rivals drop their games.
After Buffalo got a 31-21 win over the Miami Dolphins, fans had the chance to watch two different games that involved the New York Jets and New England Patriots. The Jets were on the road in Tampa Bay and the Patriots were hosting Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Well, for the second time in three weeks, the Bills were the only team within the AFC East who got to celebrate a win.
Bills' control of AFC East became bigger without playing on Sunday
The Bills beat the Dolphins this week and got to see both the Jets and Patriots lose. The Jets lost to the Buccaneers and the Patriots failed at making a comeback against the Steelers. While Buffalo remains undefeated, the Patriots fall to 1-2 and both the Jets and Dolphins are still winless.
In Week 1, the Patriots lost to the Raiders; the Dolphins were blown out by the Colts; and the Jets lost a high-scoring matchup against the Steelers. As for the Bills, they made one of the greatest comebacks in recent memory against the Ravens to win 41-40.
This is now the second time in the first three weeks where the Bills were the only team in the division that came out victorious. Their dominance continues on in the division and they have a favorable schedule coming up here in the next few weeks, which includes a Sunday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots in Week 5.
