We are just one day away from seeing the newest member of the Buffalo Bills, Amari Cooper, take the field with his new team since being traded from the Cleveland Browns. The addition of Cooper will open up the playbook for Joe Brady and also give Josh Allen a true number one receiver presence.

The news gave Buffalo a lot of praise, and Bills players have been describing the impact that Cooper brings to the Bills. Coming from Cleveland, Cooper gets a massive upgrade at quarterback and he finds himself in a much better situation. Buffalo is currently at the top of the AFC East and there were a lot of people saying that the Bills were going to take a step back this season. General manager Brandon Beane has a different vision by trading for Cooper.

Even though a lot of the NFL world believes that Cooper-to-Buffalo makes the Bills one of the top teams again, there are still some doubters who may think the addition of Cooper won’t provide too much of a difference. One of those doubters is Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report, who published his “32 thoughts” for all teams in the NFL going into Week 7.

Gagnon said that he has “very little confidence in the drop-happy Amari Cooper”, but did mention that the trade is worth the low-risk that Buffalo has with this trade.

"I have very little confidence in the drop-happy Amari Cooper, but you never know with a new environment. It was worth a low-risk roll of the dice for the Bills, who certainly seem to require a shot in the arm. They've got to be at their best and still in contention when they host Kansas City in a month."

Gagnon’s take on the Cooper trade couldn’t be anymore wrong

The Bills need a player like Cooper. With all due respect to guys like Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Mack Hollins, the Bills wouldn’t be considered true threats down the stretch if they were going into the last part of the regular season with that receiving core. One of the most untalked about factors with this trade is that the Bills managed to snag Cooper away before a team like the Kansas City Chiefs could swoop in and grab him.

The Chiefs are in a desperate need for wide receiver and them losing Cooper to a team like the Bills, who are right behind them in the AFC, puts them in a tough position to make a run for the number one seed in the AFC.
