The NFL trade deadline is less than a month away and we will start to see teams making moves, whether they are buyers or sellers. We’ve already seen a couple of trades happen and there should be more by the time November 4th comes around.

Even though the Buffalo Bills are at 4-1 and are at the top of the AFC East, they need to make some improvements based on their last two games. While Buffalo went 1-1, they have looked sloppy on both sides of the ball and their defense is near the bottom of the league overall based on the tape.

Championship contenders will try to find a way to add extra help going into the second half of the season. It could be the ultimate difference maker between making a big push towards the Super Bowl and falling short. Last year, we saw the Bills make a trade for wide receiver Amari Cooper after Week 6, but he wasn’t a big difference maker.

Trade proposal has Bills landing huge playmaker for Super Bowl push

While the Bills need more help on defense and should be looking to add to that side of the ball, Alex Kay from Bleacher Report put together a trade proposal that has the Bills landing a superstar wide receiver in A.J. Brown from the Philadelphia Eagles.

In exchange for Brown, the Bills would send the Eagles a 2026 2nd-round pick and a 2027 3rd-round pick.

Here’s a bit on what Kay said about this trade proposal:

"The Buffalo Bills make for an intriguing landing spot. They boast the same 4-1 record as Philadelphia and have an MVP quarterback in Josh Allen leading their offense, but the team still lacks a true No. 1 wideout who can take the passing game to another level.
While slot wideout Khalil Shakir (22/235/2) and X receiver Keon Coleman (21/226/2) have played their roles adequately, tight end Dalton Kincaid leads Buffalo in receiving yardage (287) and receiving touchdowns (three). There's clearly room for a star like Brown to come in and take over as Allen's top target down the stretch."
Alex Kay, Bleacher Report

A.J. Brown has not been the dynamic receiver that he’s been throughout his career and part of the reason why is because the Eagles’ offense has been run heavy and there are reports about Brown being frustrated with his role, which no one can blame him for considering the player he is.

The Bills are lacking a No. 1 receiver, but that’s not their biggest weakness that they have to fix. They have more issues on defense to address, but we can’t deny the fact that adding someone like Brown would put this offense at a huge advantage.

You would have Josh Allen throwing the ball with Brown as the No. 1 receiver to go with the receiving core they already have. He would be a big difference maker for sure. However, it’s very hard to imagine the Eagles trading Brown to another Super Bowl contender, who they face in Week 17, and could potentially see in the Super Bowl if both teams make it.
