Week 2 is officially completed within the AFC East as all four teams can now turn their attention to Week 3. The Buffalo Bills started out Week 2 on Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions and it looks like it will be the best game of the week as of right now. Josh Allen was obviously the star of the game, but guys like James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, and Greg Rousseau also stood out from the rest.
This week's games will finish out tonight on Sunday Night Football (Chiefs vs. Colts), and then tomorrow in primetime (Giants vs. Rams). As we prepare for the shift to Week 3, here are the updated AFC East standings after two weeks.

1.) Buffalo Bills (2-0)
Def. Detroit Lions, 41-31
Josh Allen and the Bills' offense look completely unstoppable at this point. They have put up 77 points in a matter of four days apart from Week 1 to Week 2. Yes, the defense still needs to clean up some things but they looked much better against the Lions than they did against the Texans.
Buffalo had the best performance of any team up to this point in Week 2 and they got extra rest as they now prepare to welcome in the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3.
2.) New England Patriots (1-1)
Def. Pittsburgh Steelers, 20-3
After dropping the season opener to the Seattle Seahawks, the Patriots bounced back with a 20-3 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, Drake Maye still looks rough and the offense without A.J. Brown doesn't have any kind of spark in the passing game. The Patriots are looking up at the Bills for now, but they will be seeing them real soon when they travel to Orchard Park in Week 4.
3.) New York Jets (1-1)
Loss vs. Green Bay Packers, 20-17 OT
The Jets and the Packers battled it out in rainy conditions at MetLife Stadium and fans got extra football after the Jets blew a 10-point 4th quarter lead. New York was looking to go 2-0 for the first time in a long time, but crucial mistakes in the 4th quarter and overtime cost them that chance. They dropped their first game of the season and are now in the loss column.
4.) Miami Dolphins (0-2)
Loss vs. San Francisco 49ers, 35-13
The rough 2026 season will continue on for the Miami Dolphins, losing back-to-back west coast games to the Las Vegas Raiders, and now being blown out by the San Francisco 49ers. We all knew that the Dolphins were in for a tough season, but they barely put up any kind of fight against a now healthy 49ers team. They remain winless going into Week 3 where they will take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
