Buffalo Bills fans are not going to be happy about this news regarding a fan-favorite from last season. When the Bills signed wide receiver Mack Hollins last offseason, there were not a lot of high expectations for the journeyman. However, the Bills needed help and Hollins turned out to be a solid addition.

Whether it was because of his funny personality or being the ultimate teammate, Hollins won the hearts of Bills Mafia. However, he might have just broken them.

According to Mike Garafolo, Hollins is leaving Buffalo for the New England Patriots as he signed a two-year deal, $8.4 million deal that is worth up to $10.4 million. Hollins is staying in the AFC East and will now be catching passes from Drake Maye instead of Josh Allen.

Patriots steal a fan-favorite away from Bills

When the Bills opted to sign Josh Palmer earlier today, the writing was on the wall that either Amari Cooper and/or Mack Hollins would be out of Buffalo. Now the writing has become official as Hollins will move out to New England and face off against the Bills twice a year.

Hollins led the Bills in receiving touchdowns (5) and was fantastic on special teams. One of his biggest plays he made took place the wild card round against the Denver Broncos where he completely rocked the returner, who should have signaled for a fair catch but didn’t for some reason.

With Hollins signing with Patriots, this will be his third AFC East team that he has signed with. Before joining the Bills last season, he played with the Miami Dolphins from 2019-2021.

The Patriots got themselves a major steal in Hollins. He is versatile, a great teammate, and he can do it all on the field. He’s a perfect over the top receiver for Drake Maye and that should really concern Bills fans.

The Patriots have been very busy this first day of the legal tampering period and they just broke a lot of hearts of Bills Mafia. It’s going to be extremely weird to see Hollins line up against the Bills in a Patriots uniform.
