Bills fans should wake up everyday feeling great that they aren’t fans of the New York Jets. Don’t get me wrong, the Bills have some obstacles that they still have yet to get over, but for the longest time now, there has never been a problem with leadership. When it comes to the Jets, they not only have an issue with winning football games, but the leadership that Aaron Rodgers has is close to non-existent.

The Jets dropped their ninth game of the year to fall to 3-9 against the Seattle Seahawks. The Jets are 1-6 since Robert Saleh was fired and have dropped their third straight game. Yet again, the Jets are showing the NFL world that what you do in the offseason means nothing. It’s all about what happens on the field.

After the game, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers spoke with the media and was asked about his production not being the best, despite being his health being fine. Rodgers simply threw his teammates under the bus rather than take all accountability. In a video caught by Jets Videos (@snyjets), Rodgers was seen talking about how sometimes it’s his fault, but then mentioning how “details aren’t always there in other spots.”

The Jets going all in for Aaron Rodgers is coming back to punish them even more

The quarterback is supposed to be the captain, the leader of a team and while accountability should be given to the correct people, the leader tends to take it publicly. Not Rodgers though. Despite saying that there are times he messes up, his comments about saying that there are other players to be blamed for their mistakes just shows a true lack of leadership.

Bills fans should be jumping for joy that the Jets are a mess and they created by going all in for a player that isn’t the kind of playmaker he once was. The Jets tried to build around Rodgers, tried to acquire a bunch of veterans to put themselves in the conversation to get to the Super Bowl, but instead they just pushed themselves back further.
