The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching and Bills fans are curious to see what direction that Brandon Beane will take when it comes to building up for the future of the team. This will be the first time in a decade where Sean McDermott will not be in the draft room for Buffalo. It will be Beane teaming up with new head coach Joe Brady and seeing who can immediately provide impact and who can be great future players.

Buffalo has seven draft picks right now, but they don’t have a second rounder as it was sent to the Chicago Bears in order to acquire D.J. Moore. They will kick off their draft at No. 26 overall, but we know that anything can happen to where the Bills could possibly trade up or trade out of the pick.

While the Bills could utilize their first round pick on a wide receiver, edge rusher, or linebacker, no one should be surprised if the Bills were to trade out of it. There are three potential trade packages that the Bills could benefit from for the No. 26 overall pick.

3 trade packages Bills could benefit from for No. 26 pick

1.) Trade with Arizona Cardinals

In this mock trade, the Bills trade out of the first round with the Arizona Cardinals, but Buffalo gets a nice little haul. The Bills trade away their first round pick and a fifth round pick in exchange for a second and third round this year, as well as a 2027 fifth round pick.

So, the Bills get an early second rounder in which they could still get a first round prospect who slipped, an extra third rounder, and a draft pick for next year. This would be a very solid deal for the Bills.

2.) Trade with Seattle Seahawks

The Bills drop down six spots, but still get the chance to draft someone in the first round. In this mock trade, the Bills send their first and fifth rounder to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for their first and third round pick this year. It’s an even swap for picks, the Seahawks get to trade up, and the Bills remain in the first round and pick up an extra third round pick.

3.) Trade with Tennessee Titans

This mock trade has the Bills dropping the furthest, but Buffalo only gives up their first rounder while they receive three draft picks in this year’s draft. The Titans get back up into the first round, and the Bills get a second, third, and fifth round pick this year. Once again, a nice little haul and they don’t give up anything outside of the first rounder.
