It was a tale of two halves in Orchard Park. The Bills looked very disjointed and out of sync really seemingly to struggle to get anything going on offense. The first half the Bills were outgained 208 to 85. Then in the second half, the Bills found whatever they were missing. The Bills outgained the Titans 304-66. The Bills run away with a win after scoring 34 unanswered points since they were down 10-0 at 11:31 in the second quarter.

Overall, there is much to be happy about. Amari Cooper contributed in his Bills debut and Keon Coleman had a monster game. Ray Davis is becoming a fantastic compliment to James Cook, and Josh Allen got back over 300 yards passing. The slow start is not ideal against a team you are clearly better than, who was starting a backup QB nonetheless, but it didn’t hurt the Bills.

3 Bills players who shined in the win vs Titans

Josh Allen

Allen had 323 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first 300-yard game of the season. Allen found the open guys and made drives last, especially in the second half when the offense was clicking. The only “concern” I have is Allen had 3 carries for 1 yard. Clearly Sean McDermott and Joe Brady are going to great lengths to keep Allen in the pocket. While that’s not a bad thing, Josh Allen’s legs are a big asset that can break a game open. I’m not advocating for more designed runs into linebackers, just having an option for him to take off for a sizable gain to prolong drives would make this offense a lot more efficient.

Keon Coleman

Coleman had 4 catches for 125 yards. He was responsible for the big play the Bills desperately needed on the first touchdown they scored, including a big 44-yard catch. Late in the fourth quarter, he had a big 57-yard catch. Coleman had a tremendous impact on this game. We saw him make plays when needed, and be the complimentary receiver he has to be for this offense to be successful. Dalton Kincaid is so versatile as a receiver and Amari Cooper is still acclimating and Coleman gave us all more confidence, he can be what the Bills need on offense going forward, a difference maker.

Amari Cooper

Number 18 for the Bills looks good. Cooper had 4 catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. It seemed that the team was trying to bring him along slowly and ease him into the offense. The second half it felt like he was in there more than he probably was. It is evident Cooper is much better than the rest of the receivers on this team which is great news for the Bills. On his touchdown he ran the same route Mack Hollins ran against the Jets last Monday night and the difference is, Amari Cooper is just better. No offence to Hollins intended but it’s a fact. Another week of practice and a deeper dive into the playbook will make next week's matchup with Seattle a very exciting one.
