Last season, we saw the best offensive line the Buffalo Bills have had in a long time. Josh Allen was well-protected, only being sacked 14 times and the unit stayed healthy for most of the season which kept the continuity. Going into this season, the Bills return all five starters from last season which is an advantage that they have over the rest of the AFC East.

However, the Bills will have to make some contractual decisions here in the next couple of months with Connor McGovern and David Edwards. Until then though, the Bills’ offensive line is one of the more dominating units in the NFL.

With that being said, we rank the offensive lines in the AFC East heading into the 2025 season.

Ranking AFC East offensive lines ahead of 2025 season

4.) Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have some shuffling parts upfront to protect Tua Tagovailoa. With Terron Armstead retiring, Patrick Paul is set to potentially take over the left tackle position. They also have rookie Jonah Savaiinaea who they traded up for in the 2025 draft. The offensive line in Miami has been average at best for the last couple of seasons and until they prove that they can be a strong unit on the team, they remain in the last slot in these power rankings.

3.) New York Jets

For the last two seasons, the Jets have drafted an offensive tackle in the first round which isn’t a splash move but it’s a solid one. They drafted Olu Fashanu last year No. 11 overall and then they drafted Armand Membou No. 7 overall this past April. This unit is a bit of a hit or miss going into this season and with more younger guys than veterans, they have a lot to prove going into this season.

2.) New England Patriots

I’ve been saying it now for months; the New England Patriots are going to give the Bills a problem or two this coming season. They revamped a lot of their roster and that includes the offensive line. Garrett Bradbury is a serviceable center who replaces long-time Pats fan-favorite David Andrews, Morgan Moses comes over from the Jets, and rookie Will Campbell is arguably the most pro-ready player from this draft class. They come in at No. 2 in these power rankings.

1.) Buffalo Bills

As stated before, the Bills have a lot of continuity on the offensive line. They are the best unit that Allen has had since being drafted to Buffalo and there is no reason why they shouldn’t be at the top of the list, as well as in the top amongst the league. Until proven otherwise, the Bills have the best offensive line in the AFC East.
