Fifth Round: Olusegun Oluwatimi

Original Pick: Justin Shorter

Another pick the Buffalo Bills could have made in the fifth round that might have been better suited for their roster is Olusegun Oluwatimi out of Michigan. He would be picked four picks after Shorter and go to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Buffalo Bills have their starter for this season with Mitch Morse but it certainly looks like it will be his final year with a significant cap hit in 2024. In addition to Morse’s cap hit, he has dealt with injuries and missed at least two regular season games in two of the past three years.

While Ryan Bates now is the likely backup center with the addition of Torrence, the Buffalo Bills probably shouldn’t rely on him being the starter after this season and a replacement for Morse. However, Olusegun Oluwatimi has an excellent chance to be a good starting center in this league and would have been a better option for the Bills as he could be the backup this year and the starter moving forward.
