Bold Prediction #2: 4 offensive tackles drafted before the Buffalo Bills

The first bold prediction would be good news for the Buffalo Bills because the quarterback is not a position they need and the more quarterbacks that are selected give a player they are targeting a better chance to fall to them. However, this next prediction won’t be as welcomed.

Similar to quarterback, offensive tackle is very top-heavy in terms of talent and there are four offensive tackles that have a great chance to go in the first round with Peter Skoronski, Darnell Wright, Paris Johnson Jr., and Broderick Jones.

The offensive tackle is a premium position, similar to quarterback, and teams that find rookies that can start early have an advantage in terms of the salary cap and what they have to pay there. I would expect teams to be aggressive at this position and see all four players get drafted before the Buffalo Bills.

This will leave general manager Brandon Beane with Anton Harrison out of Oklahoma if offensive tackle is the position they want to address in the first round. Harrison has a chance to compete with Spencer Brown for the starting right tackle spot immediately but I don’t believe the Buffalo Bills are ready to move on from Brown and want to give him one more chance.
