Do the Buffalo Bills add to defensive tackle?

One position that isn’t a pressing need right now but will be in the future is defensive tackle. The team has all four key players at the position returning this season in Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle, and Jordan Phillips.

While this is good news for the upcoming season, none of these players are under contract past this season. This is a concern for a defense that rotates heavily on the defensive line and they need three or four players who can see regular snaps for their defensive game plan to work.

It will be interesting to see how Brandon Beane approaches this position as well because the hope would be any early draft pick could contribute sooner rather than later. However, as the roster is currently constructed, the Bills may have trouble finding a roster spot let alone snaps for a rookie at the position.

This could be a position that the Buffalo Bills don’t actively target but if a player were to fall and they are good value, it is a pick that would make sense.
