Drew Sanders
The next linebacker is Drew Sanders, who played two seasons for Alabama before transferring to Arkansas before last season. Sanders was primarily a backup with the Crimson Tide but as a starter with Arkansas had a great season with 103 total tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 13.5 tackles for a loss.
Drew Sanders is an exciting linebacker who has tremendous upside but could need a little more time to develop as he was a full-time starter for only that one season in Arkansas. There are some questions about whether or not Sanders is a true off-ball linebacker and might be better suited as an edge.
Chris Trappasso of CBS Sports had an interesting comparison for Drew Sanders with Micah Parsons on the Dallas Cowboys. The former Razorback certainly has the skills to be an excellent player in the NFL but may not be a true replacement for Tremaine Edmunds.
Sean McDermott is a smart enough defensive coach that he could certainly maximize Sanders but might need to make some notable changes to his defensive scheme.
