Buffalo Bills Rumors: 5 veterans tabbed as trade fits for the Bills

Veteran trade fits for the Buffalo Bills: Devin White, LB
Finally, the last name mentioned in connection with the Bills is the most recent to be involved in a trade “situation.” Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White has his fifth-year option coming up next season, but he wants out already.
White is one of the bigger names in Tampa Bay and brings the energy for that defense. He makes a lot of tackles and covers a ton of ground for the Bucs’ unit. But, if you asked Pro Football Focus, White isn’t worth a high draft pick. In fact, PFF quite honestly isn’t a fan.
They’ve given him atrocious grades against the run and in coverage. The only way White would be worth it, is if he was brought in primarily to rush the passer. But, the Bills need someone to replace Tremaine Edmunds and become a go-to coverage linebacker and run-stopper.
White has three straight seasons with over 120 tackles and has tallied 20.5 sacks in four years. He’s a good player, but not quite what the Bucs should be looking for at this point. He’s also going to come in commanding a hefty contract, which Buffalo wasn’t even willing to pay Edmunds at this point.
