Veteran trade fits for the Buffalo Bills: Derrick Henry, RB

Earlier in the offseason, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was said to be in trade talks as the team was shopping him. However, a couple of weeks ago, Titans general manager Ran Carthon said that those reports were invalid, and that the team was in a good place with Henry.

Still, for a report like the to come out and the Titans to be in flux says something. Tennessee needs to figure out their quarterback position, first and foremost. If that’s not accomplished, one has to wonder whether or not Henry will want to stick around.

The Titans could also choose to sell Henry right now, before his career takes a downward trend. Injuries are starting to become a little bit of a concern, and with how much run those legs get, Henry can’t have too many seasons left playing at a high level, one would assume.

If the Bills dealt for Henry, they could give him all the run they wanted for 2023 in effort to win it all. Having the most dominant running back in the game right behind a quarterback like Josh Allen could be lethal. Not to mention, the Bills’ passing attack is still pretty good.
