Siaki Ika

Since the Buffalo Bills could see a complete overhaul at defensive tackle, Mazi Smith isn’t the only defensive tackle the front office could look at. The Bills could also be looking for a one-tech defensive tackle, a player who could be a replacement for DaQuan Jones.

One fit that makes a lot of sense would be defensive tackle Siaki Ika out of Baylor. He is a big, spacing-eating defensive tackle at 6’3″ and 335 pounds that would clog running lanes and make life difficult in the middle of the field for opposing run games.

The intriguing part for Siaki Ika is that he has shown he can bring more to the position as he had 3.5 sacks and six tackles for a loss in 2021. He regressed a bit last year in this area but with a year developing, this should be a point of focus for the coaching staff and Ika would have a great chance to be an impact player at the position in 2024.
