Which players could the Buffalo Bills draft in the 2023 NFL Draft that may not start until 2024?

The hope for the Buffalo Bills would be they draft players that come in right away and make an immediate impact as a rookie. However, that isn’t always the case and entering the 2023 NFL Draft the front office could look to draft players that eventually replace current starters in future years.

This forward-thinking approach can help the Buffalo Bills as some players, like Ed Oliver or Gabe Davis, could leave in free agency next offseason. If the Bills lose these players, the front office wouldn’t have to replace them in free agency or rely on a rookie from next year’s draft. They would already have those players on the roster and with a year of experience should step in as a starter and replace that production.

With that in mind, these are five prospects that could be drafted this year to be a starter in 2024.
