Tre’Davious White (2017 NFL Draft)
The first pick on this list is one that Brandon Beane wasn’t actually with the Buffalo Bills but Sean McDermott was as head coach and it wasn’t really a secret that the general manager at the time, Doug Whaley would be leaving the team shortly after the NFL Draft. That is why for the sake of this article, Tre’Davious White is considered to be a first round pick for the current regime.
In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills would originally have the 10th overall pick but would agree to trade back with the Kansas City Chiefs, who selected Patrick Mahomes, and the Bills would select Tre’Davious White with their pick at 27th overall.
Over the past six years, White has developed into a cornerstone of this defense and one of the top cornerbacks in the league. He would finish as the runner up for Defensive Rookie of the Year, be selected to two Pro Bowls, and make the first-team All-Pro and second-team All-Pro each one time during his NFL career.
The selection of Tre’Davious White was a great first pick for this current regime.
