The next team is the one that Gannon just left and helped them reach the Super Bowl last season. Unlike the Bears or the Cardinals, the Eagles are going to be looking for players to come in right away and help them potentially get back to the Super Bowl.

The reason the Eagles could be interested in trading for Ed Oliver is that they lost a number of players on their defense with the biggest potential loss being defensive tackle Javon Hargrave. In the past two seasons, Hargrave has had 18.5 sacks and 34 QB hits while starting every game for Philadelphia.

The Eagles still have a lot of talent on their defensive line but trading for Ed Oliver could be the perfect player to pencil in right next to Fletcher Cox as the other starting defensive tackle. He would be a player that could put pressure on the opposing quarterback and replace some of the pass rushing production that Hargrave brought to this defense.
