4 Buffalo Bills free agent signings that could lose their job

Buffalo Bills free agent signings who could lose their job: Tyrel Dodson, LB
The Bills’ most notable move, during free agency, other than re-signing safety Jordan Poyer, was when they had to watch Tremaine Edmunds sign elsewhere. Once Edmunds signed with the Bears, it became a “next man up” mentality in Buffalo.
The re-signed Tyrel Dodson automatically became a favorite to take Edmunds’ starting job going into next season. However, he isn’t the most ideal option for the job. While Dodson is incredible in the pass rush department, he struggles where Edmunds shined: coverage.
Dodson struggles big time when it comes to defending the pass, and that’s something to be worried about if you’re a Bills fan. Buffalo very well could look to find a solidified replacement option early in the draft.
If Buffalo is able to land a name like either Washington State’s Daiyan Henley, Iowa’s Jack Campbell, or even Clemson’s Trenton Simpson (who would fit better on the outside, quite frankly), then Dodson should be worried. There are some great options for the Bills between the second and third rounds, and replacing such a big role like Edmunds’ is no easy task. Dodson should be weary going into draft weekend.
