The Buffalo BIlls signed free agent wide receiver Deonte Harty and Brandon Beane said he expects Harty to be that fourth wide receiver in this offense. The release of Isaiah McKenzie on Friday by the Bills means there isn’t a clear option currently at slot receiver.

The most likely candidate currently on the roster would be Khalil Shakir, who played well in limited action as a rookie last season. However, if the Bills want a veteran at the position then the only option really left that is a clear upgrade is Adam Thielen.

The former Pro Bowl wide receiver was released by the Minnesota Vikings recently and while he will be 33 years old this season, he is still very productive with 70 receptions, 716 receiving yards and six touchdowns this past season.
