If Deonte Harty can develop into the starting slot receiver and see a significant snap share in 2023, this should absolutely benefit Stefon Diggs and make his job a little easier. This past season, the other wide receivers on the team didn’t really scare opposing defenses and this allowed them to double team with safeties and really limit what he could do after the catch.

Deonte Harty has incredible speed and can stretch defenses, which combined with Josh Allen’s arm strength, is going to force defenses to account for him. This means safeties are going to have to play a little deeper and this should open up more of those shallow and middle routes that Diggs does so well because of his route running.

The sample size is certainly small with Deonte Harty but he showed enough with the New Orleans Saints that should give the coaching staff some confidence that he can have an impact on this offense this upcoming season and help players like Stefon Diggs.
