4 ripple effects of the Buffalo Bills signing Jamaal Williams: Reduces Josh Allen’s goal line rushing attempts

The addition of Jamaal Williams would not only make James Cook and Nyheim Hines more effective but it also will reduce the number of hits that Josh Allen takes, especially down near the goal line.

The Bills franchise quarterback is one of the most unique quarterbacks in the league as he has a combination of size and athleticism that is not really found at that position. The Buffalo Bills have been able to use that to their advantage as Allen has had 17 rushing touchdowns inside the 10 yard line over the past three seasons but also has had 47 rushing attempts in that span.

While this is part of Josh Allen’s game that the Buffalo Bills don’t want to completely remove, it would be wise as Allen gets older for the coaching staff to be more selective. If the Bills were to add Jamaal Williams, it would give them that flexibility as he showed last season that he was almost unstoppable in that part of the field.
