While Adam Thielen hasn’t been released yet, one player who already was released by the Minnesota Vikings is linebacker Eric Kendricks. He was a second round pick by the Vikings in 2015 and has been their starting middle linebacker over the past eight seasons.

During that time period, Kendricks has had over 100 total tackles every season except for his rookie season and was named first-team All-Pro once in 2019. He also has 15 sacks, nine interceptions, and 51 passes defended.

The Buffalo Bills are likely to lose their starting middle linebacker from the past five seasons, Tremaine Edmunds, with him about to enter free agency. This will be a big need for the team to address as there is not a clear replacement already on the roster and a veteran like Kendricks could be a good option for the next two to three years.
